We FINALLY had SNOW!!! It took until March, but Sunday afternoon we had the most beautiful snowstorm. It had rained most of the day and about 4pm it turned into heavy huge flakes! Within an hour we already had a few inches. Bryan was outside in it from the time it was sticking to the ground. Before dark, we had 2 snowmen and a snowball fight. Ethan has been sick (ear infection) so he only got a few minutes in the lovely white stuff, and he looked very puzzled as to what was going on. I think he was relieved to go back inside!We have a family tradition of baking cookies when it snows, so our breaks from being out in the cold were filled in with chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate. YUM! Bryan was out of school Monday and enjoyed sledding at Grammy's house.
Now it is Thursday and despite a few patches of snow on the ground, the forecast is calling for 70s on Saturday! The trees have started blooming, daffodils are beautiful and the grass is greener!
Spring is here!
